So I bought Leeland's new cd today and this song My Chains Hit the Ground up above was really a stand out to me. Its a powerful song and I cant help but worship to this song. Jesus sacrificed Himself for me and you! I mean who would do that for us, messed up sinners that doesnt deserve anything. Through Jesus we are free!!!! How awesome is that!! Our chains hit the ground. Jesus took on what should have been our punishment, so we could be free and alive in Him. I get chill bumps just thinking about this. As Christians we are free, but so many times we walk around defeated carrying burdens that as children of God we were never meant to carry. So i pray that this song is a reminder to us all that Jesus died for us and He lives in us  now and we are no longer bound so lay down any burdens that hold you back, lay them at Jesus' feet. When life gets tough keep holding on to Jesus because there is victory in Him. So dont let the craziness of this life burden you again, remember we are free.  And my Chains hit the ground....
